In reply to <a href="https://www.dfwwebsitedesigners.com/daily-efficiency-percentage/#comment-22143">Kathy Gaalaas</a>.

Kathy,

thanks for the comment! I am about to start my holiday reading which includes "The One Thing" by Gary Keller who wants to take my idea even further down by really only focusing on one major thing a day. I am not yet sure how he plans to do that but I am excited about the reading.

I am doing MUCH better on my daily tasks with this method and have hit my first 100% day. So getting better day by day. Like weight loss, or learning a new language, the consistency of focus to always get better seems to be part of the key. Now at least I have a rating system for doing so!

This is excellent! I have so many time-based planners sitting here at my desk and in drawers. I just gave advice to a friend about this exact thing. Studies have shown that we can only take on THREE major tasks a day. This doesn't necessarily mean phone calls that can be logged and have a specific begin, end, and we have more control, but more for working projects, research, etc. Also, creating only 3 major things a day gives you the empowerment to continue and add as you go. I like your idea of putting a note in for every hour just to track yourself. Thanks for this!
